A photographic ode to spring
as nature hums with life
Spring twirled into our lives, bold and loud with a dress sparkling in hues of green, accompanied by a loud chorus of bird song. After the quiet company of a shy winter, she’s been a welcome breath of fresh air. But for me it has taken some adjustment to her strong presence. Everything is so green right now!
I've wanted nothing else but to be out there, dancing with her and enjoying the concert put on by the birds, and I can’t help but think about how fleeting it all is. How much I will miss her when she’s gone.
So the last couple of weeks I have tried to be outside as much as possible - with my camera of course - attempting to capture Spring in all her vibrant beauty, and the life she brought with her. This is my photographic ode to her.

The approach of summer
June has arrived, the lilacs are blooming and seeds fill the air with sparkles as spring has started to undergo a magical transformation: Like a performer of Eurovision doing a grand dress reveal, or Sailor Moon transforming using her moon prism. Spring will become summer, and her green dress will be patterned with colors of white, purple, yellow, red and blue as flowers start to bloom. Fledgling birds will leave their nests and soon our garden will be teaming with life. I can’t wait to capture it all with my camera!
My next post will be all about insects, biodiversity in my garden and macro photography. Let me know in the comment section if you have any questions on the topic that you’d want me to cover ♥︎
